Antalya Premium Triathlon Training Camp

Antalya Premium Triathlon Training Camp is a seven-day, six-night premium camp designed to bring age-group triathletes a high-quality training environment, professional coaching, advanced recovery facilities and a five-star stay.

The camp is based at Gloria Sports Arena in Belek, Antalya. Chosen by professional athletes and international teams for training camps, this high-performance centre brings swimming, cycling, running, strength training, recovery, sports nutrition and five-star accommodation together in one complex.

The week is designed to offer more than intensive training at a good facility. Professional coaching, ability-based groups, cycling on the IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye course, Mediterranean open-water swimming, supported rides, technical assistance, advanced recovery, full-board sports nutrition and the Antalya experience are organised as one complete camp.

Throughout the camp, your focus can remain simple: Train. Fuel. Recover. Repeat.

We manage the operational details so that you can concentrate on quality training, eating well, recovering and enjoying the experience.

02

Why Antalya?

One of Antalya’s greatest advantages is its mild Mediterranean winter. Daytime temperatures around 15–20°C can provide favourable conditions for outdoor swimming, cycling and running; actual weather varies.

This climate is particularly valuable for longer rides and runs. Gloria Sports Arena’s heated 50-metre outdoor pool also makes it possible to keep pool training outdoors.

The climate is only part of the appeal. Roads around Belek support sessions ranging from long endurance rides to tempo and race-specific work. The region also hosts IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye, giving athletes the opportunity to train in an established international triathlon destination.

Antalya’s Mediterranean location lets us complement pool sessions with open-water swimming when conditions permit. Away from training, the sea, history, food and Mediterranean lifestyle add a distinctive destination experience.

Mild winter conditions. The Mediterranean. The IRONMAN course. World-class facilities. We chose Antalya for more than warmer weather: it is a winter triathlon destination.

03

Gloria Sports Arena

Gloria Sports Arena is at the heart of the camp experience. Its distinctive strength is the combination of five-star accommodation and service with extensive high-performance facilities developed for professional athletes, all within the same complex.

Alongside five-star accommodation and full board, athletes can access swimming pools, an athletics track, professional gym spaces, performance laboratories and recovery facilities. Bringing these services together means less time travelling between venues and more time for training, nutrition and recovery.

Heated outdoor Olympic pools — 50 m and 25 m

Training in the heated 50-metre outdoor Olympic pool is one of the camp’s defining experiences. Starting the day with an outdoor swim in Antalya’s mild winter conditions is central to the character of the week.

Athletes are allocated suitable lanes. Set distances, send-off times and intensity are adjusted to each group’s swimming level.

50-metre indoor pool

Gloria Sports Arena also has a 50-metre indoor swimming pool. Having both indoor and outdoor 50-metre options at the same venue helps minimise the effect of changing weather on the swimming programme.

Professional athletics facilities

Running sessions go beyond accumulating kilometres around the hotel. The athletics facilities provide a professional setting for intervals, threshold work, running drills, technique and controlled-pace sessions.

The sports-focused architecture is also part of the stay. Rooms and balconies overlooking the track reflect the experience of staying within a high-performance training centre; a particular room view is not guaranteed.

Approximately 2,000 m² performance gym

Triathlon performance involves more than swim, bike and run. Approximately 2,000 m² of professional gym and performance space allows strength, mobility and activation work to be integrated into the camp.

The result is a complete training environment that considers several aspects of performance, alongside training volume.

Advanced performance testing

Advanced performance tests and athlete assessments can be arranged at Gloria Sports Arena according to individual needs. These services are not included in the standard camp package and are available at an additional charge.

Full-board sports nutrition

At a camp with a substantial training load, nutrition is part of performance and recovery. It is more than an accommodation extra.

Athletes receive three buffet meals each day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a long ride, you can move directly into refuelling and recovery without searching for a restaurant or arranging meals independently.

The package also includes water, tea, coffee and non-alcoholic drink options throughout the day.

Recovery & regeneration

Quality training depends on how well you recover for the next session. Recovery is therefore a planned part of the training process throughout our camp.

Gloria Sports Arena’s recovery and regeneration facilities form part of the week’s training environment.

Kneipp Pool · 6–8°C

Athletes can use the Kneipp Pool throughout the camp. Its continuously cooled water at 6–8°C and varied floor surfaces offer an option for post-training recovery and foot relaxation.

Particularly after long rides and runs, this area can become part of your daily recovery routine.

Icelab · –110°C whole-body cryotherapy

Each athlete’s premium package includes one Icelab –110°C whole-body cryotherapy session during camp, subject to the facility’s suitability requirements.

As well as training in a professional sports environment, athletes have the opportunity to experience one of its advanced recovery technologies.

Training. Nutrition. Recovery. Gloria Sports Arena’s strength lies in bringing these three processes together in one setting.

04

Cycling & open-water experience

Cycling and open-water sessions are important parts of the triathlon camp.

IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye cycling course

The cycling programme uses the IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye course and surrounding roads. Alongside quality riding routes, this provides an opportunity to experience the setting of an international IRONMAN event.

For athletes planning to race IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye in the future, the camp also offers valuable course familiarisation.

Guided rides matched to ability

Cycling sessions are organised into groups according to performance level.

Support / escort vehicle

A support or escort vehicle accompanies groups on longer rides. It carries necessary equipment, helps the team reach athletes who need assistance, can collect a rider who cannot continue and provides support when unexpected situations arise.

The vehicle is an important part of the camp’s operational and safety arrangements.

Local bike technical support

We do not want an athlete travelling with their own bike to miss a substantial part of camp because of a small mechanical issue. Local bike technical support will therefore be organised when needed.

The aim is to find a solution as quickly as possible for gear adjustments, tyre problems or other mechanical issues. Personal parts and mechanical charges are outside the package.

Bike rental

Bike rental can be arranged for athletes who prefer to travel without their own bike. Rental is not included in the camp fee.

Contact us before camp for available bikes, suitable frame sizes and rental prices, so that arrangements can be planned before you arrive in Antalya.

Mediterranean open-water training

The programme includes an open-water experience alongside pool sessions. When weather, sea and safety conditions are suitable, training will take place in the IRONMAN 70.3 Türkiye swim area.

05

Training matched to your level

A premium camp recognises that different athletes have different training histories, strengths, development needs and race goals. We do not expect everyone to perform at the same level.

We use a level-based training approach throughout the week. In the pool, athletes train in appropriate lanes, with distances, send-off times and intensity adjusted to the group.

On the bike, groups reflect speed and endurance. For running, the controlled setting of the athletics track allows individual paces and appropriate intensity zones to guide sessions.

Age-group athletes of different performance levels can therefore share the same camp experience while working with training loads suited to them.

06

Airport & bike-box transfers

Our team organises return transfers between Antalya Airport and Gloria Sports Arena. The journey takes approximately 30–35 minutes, depending on traffic.

Transfers are planned around athletes’ flight times, including arrangements for the safe transport of bike boxes for participants travelling with their own bikes.

From your arrival in Antalya to your return airport transfer, these transport arrangements form part of the camp organisation. Please provide your flight and bike-box details in advance.

07

Camp kit

Technical T-shirt + custom cycling jersey

Every participant receives a technical camp T-shirt and a custom cycling jersey carrying the camp identity.

Our aim is to provide quality kit that athletes will want to wear during camp and afterwards. When you put on your jersey months later, we want it to bring back memories of your week in Antalya.

08

Professional photography & video

Professional photography and video coverage will take place during swimming, cycling, running and open-water training throughout camp.

Professional photographs of athletes in different sessions and memorable moments will be shared with participants free of charge after the camp, giving every athlete quality images of their Antalya experience.

Photography and video coverage are included in the package, with no additional participation fee.

09

Antalya experience

We believe the quality of a week-long camp is about more than the number of sessions completed. A well-planned camp balances quality training with recovery and a rewarding social experience.

Half a day is therefore set aside to explore Antalya. Athletes can step away from the training routine to experience the historic centre of Kaleiçi, the Mediterranean coastline and the city’s distinctive atmosphere.

This half-day also acts as a deliberately planned recovery period within the programme. The aim is to enjoy walking through Antalya, taking in the sea views and spending time together outside the training environment, without an intensive sightseeing schedule.

Come for the training. Remember the experience.

11

Who can join?

Antalya Premium Triathlon Training Camp is designed for adult age-group triathletes who train regularly. You do not need to be an elite athlete.

Athletes preparing for sprint, Olympic, 70.3 or long-distance races are welcome. This is a professional training-camp experience for people who already swim, bike and run regularly and want to develop their triathlon performance, rather than a holiday camp for complete beginners.

Different performance levels are welcome: athletes train in groups appropriate to their ability.

12

Pre-camp athlete assessment

Quality coaching begins before you arrive in Antalya. We assess each participant’s basic athlete profile before camp.

We collect information about triathlon experience, current weekly training volume, target race distance, swimming level and pace, cycling performance, running level and current race goals.

The coaching team uses this information to plan swimming lanes, cycling groups and training intensity as far as possible before camp begins.

This helps create an organised and personalised training environment ready for your arrival.

13

Clubs & coaches

The camp welcomes individual athletes, triathlon clubs and coaches travelling with their own groups.

Organising an overseas training camp involves accommodation, pool access, cycling routes, airport transfers, bike-box transport, support vehicles, technical assistance, meals, recovery and daily operations, as well as the training programme.

We provide that local operational infrastructure in Antalya. Club coaches can concentrate on their athletes and coaching, with logistical support around them.

Clubs can bring their own coaches. Selected parts of the programme can be planned together to reflect the club’s training approach and athletes’ needs.

Our role is to support the club’s existing coaching system with a world-class setting and professional operational support.

We aim to build relationships with European triathlon clubs that extend beyond one camp and can continue across future seasons.
